Trapdoor Productions has a new showreel!

As of today, Trapdoor Productions finally has a new showreel. It contains clips of many projects we have worked on over the last few months, from national and international clients, all across Australia and the world. There are shots filmed with all kinds of cameras, from helicopters to boats, and some shots produced entirely digitally on the computer, using 3D animation and visual effects. We’ve filmed fashion, food, events, sports, software (which happens to be quite hard to film!), technology and charity. If you haven’t seen it yet, play the video on our homepage!

Needless to say, we have learned much. Over the last year, Trapdoor Productions has seen many changes. We have moved to a new office, introduced several new members to our team, and adopted the use of new technologies as they come. We always try to be cutting edge, and we have provided better quality film with the use of a new full High Definition camera that films with a quality and style that is incomparable to anything else out there in digital world. We believe that it is no longer acceptable to deliver a style and visual quality that isn’t emotionally attractive, unless of-course that look has a specific purpose.

In the next few weeks, be on the lookout for some cool breakdown videos of visual effect shots we’ve produced over the last few months. Also in the pipeline are a few more videoblog entries where we interview – and compete with – award winning table tennis player William Henzel, and some cool behind the scenes footage.
