This month the Trapdoor team are pleased to announce our latest client win (insert drum roll)… Nikon, Japan.
Having gone brief to brief with several Australian production houses we’ll now be helping Nikon roll out an exciting global video campaign that focuses on their new SeeCoat Blue lens technology for glasses. In this camping we’ll be sharing the ramifications of blue light and benefits of SeeCoat Blue with spec wearers and optometrists everywhere.
The facts are clear (or semi-clear depending on how bad your eyes are):
60% of people spend between one and six hours a day viewing content on electronic devices.
Over 90% of computer users experience digital eyestrain symptoms from the blue light, including headaches, dry or irritated eyes and blurry vision.
Why is blue light to blame? When using your electronic device powerful blue rays are emitted by your device’s LED screen. These waves are high frequency with a short wave length, meaning they’re more concentrated and much more powerful than other light rays.
Just by wearing SeeCoat Blue lenses you can help cut out and reflect blue light to make you’re your eyes stay safe, protected and stress free. Too easy!
We are really excited to have the opportunity to work with the team at Nikon and will be shamefully plugging the work we produce in the coming months. Watch this space…preferably through Seecoat Blue lenses!
