Adobe CS6
Lets hear from our resident Geek, Zander!
WOW. This could be too good to be true.
Finally Adobe is using the back-end of computing as it should. Using global performance cache is going to make so many beginner to advanced After Effects designers life’s so much easier. I have always been skeptical in what advancements they will make and what direction they will take it. The jump between After effects CS4 to CS5 is a lot less than the jump between CS5 to CS6. The progression jump is client and user orientated with the Global cache allowing slight to heavy changes to be viewed and changed on the fly. Animation, colour correction, various particle effects can have a malleability as it deserves.
The days of clients waiting for final renders and RAM previews to be finished are gone. This is where artistic software should go, especially a shell program like After Effects. Adobe is placing focus on usability as opposed to effects which pushes the program forward on many levels.
CS6 lets the external third party plugins loose in a jumping castle, whilst After effects pump a continuous supply of air to allow for those nifty bag of tricks.
We promise we aren’t bias just because Adobe is one of our clients…
